Prilosec can - like most medications - cause side effects in some people. Some are minor and will not require that treatment with Prilosec be stopped. Others may be more serious. The most common side effects include:

Other, less common side effects include:

• dizziness
• constipation
• back pain
• skin rash
• weakness
• cough
• cold symptoms
